The Siemens Vectron in the A35 version is our latest addition. The first unit of this type is already with us – 383.301. We will be taking delivery of another one in the coming days. It will be our second unit of this type and will be designated 383.302.
The carrier will be LOKORAIL, which belongs to the BUDAMAR group. Commissioning is scheduled for early January 2023.
This is the first locomotive registered in Slovakia for use on Italian infrastructure. With this homologation, it is possible to transport goods to Italy without the need to change locomotives. In practice, Vectron can pass through DE, AT, CZ, SK, HU, SLO, SRB, BG, and IT. For the carrier, this means simplified transport with only a change of personnel.
