In March 2021, České dráhy expanded its fleet and put six of our Siemens Vectron locomotives into operation. These trains mainly run on the R18 line (Slovácky expres), which runs from Prague and ends at the Uherské Hradiště station.
One of these locomotives travels more than 1,300 kilometers every day. As a result, these six locomotives collectively exceeded the 1 million kilometer mark in October. The locomotive that traveled the most was 193.769-7, which covered 214,000 kilometers from March to the end of October.
In addition to covering more than a million kilometers, our locomotives maintained high availability of 98%–100% throughout the entire period.
