We are pleased that after five years of leasing our locomotives, we have managed to conclude a lease agreement with the BUDAMAR group. For us, this also means balancing the leasing of our locomotives between passenger and freight carriers.
The subject of this lease will be 10 Siemens Vectron MS locomotives in versions A17 (8 units) and A35 (2 units). We took delivery of the first two of these at the Munich-Allach production plant on February 23, 2022, and on February 25, 2022, these locomotives were transported to Bratislava.
On March 3, 2022, the first two locomotives, 383.216 and 383.217, were handed over.
The length of the lease for BUDAMAR LOGISTICS is comparable to the length of other lease agreements we have concluded with our current customers.
The delivered locomotives have already been put into operation and are to be used for train transport in all countries where BUDAMAR operates through its carriers.
